Femtos on display

On display at the Femtocell World Summit will be commercial product designs from many of picoChip's 25 picoXcell™ customers. 

These include stand-alone residential femtocells, integrated home gateways with femto, WiFi and DSL, and enterprise femtocells.

picoChip will also be showing innovative technology that will bring femtocells to a wider market, and create more flexible business models for operators.

The company's established picoXcell range of products, which power the majority of today's 3G femto deployments, include a recently announced technology called smartSignaling™, designed to significantly ease the burden imposed upon networks by the use of smartphones, and allowing up to 400 smartphones to use a single femtocell.
